New Naxos CD with music by the Azerbaijani composer Fikret Amirov (1922-1984)
Dmitry Yablonsky and his excellent orchestra Kyiv Virtuosi deliver vry committed, electrifying interpretations of both works. Their perceptible joy of playing is transferred one to one to the listener.
